Toucari presents at Momentum 2008

EMC held their premium European conference last week in Prague at the national congress centre to almost 1,500 attendees. Toucari was there to discuss and debate all the latest topics and Tony Bland was invited to speak to audiences about the strategies required to successfully deliver collaboration tools to knowledge workers.

Social events at Momentum were as spectacular as ever culminating with a lavish reception at Mansion House on the Wednesday night after the (marginally) more sober function on Tuesday evening at the Castle. The buzz surrounded Documentums bright new client CenterStage. This client uses the Ext JS framework derived from Yahoo’s original work, CenterStage looks very much better than previous attempts but the question is whether it is sufficiently extensible to satisfy clients going forward, particularly where SharePoint is an option.

Clearly, CenterStage essentials will provide more options than WebTop and future full-versions will move things forward for Documentum users.
